E.L. Crossley is offering extra homework and assignment help Tuesday and Thursdays. Mr. Yando and Mr. Leone will be working with students in the library afterschool today until 4 pm. This is a great opportunity to get additional support in any of your courses. Everyone is welcome!
Hey Crossley! Student council is making final preparations for Cyclone Day! On Monday June 5th our school will be going to Queenston Heights to have a day of fun in the sun. Enjoy a free pizza lunch, colour wars games and a school wide game of capture the flag. This year you will have the option of making your own team of people in your grade with whom to compete during the morning activities. To sign up your team (of up to 10 people) please see a student council member at lunch starting tomorrow.
If you have not yet brought in your permission forms for cyclone day please bring those to your period 1 teacher - students on spare during period 1 are asked to bring their forms to Ms. Kropac in room 308.
CLUBS
Crossley for Christ is going to meet this Friday May 26th. Not today or Thursday.
The Oddity Film Society will be watching its second last movie of this year. Stop by room 305 after school to find out what it’ll be.
Are you interested in planning school wide events like Semi formal and Cyclone day? Do you have great ideas for spirit weeks and want to gain leadership skills? Then student council is the place for you! Please see Mrs. Varga or Ms. Ranieri in room 113 or 308 to pick up nomination forms starting today. Completed forms are due to Mrs. Varga in room 113 before 2:15 on Tuesday May 30th.

ALL GRADUATING STUDENTS: Please remember that we have the picture today at the beginning of lunch outside at the bleachers. Bring your ELC Spirit wear. Don’t forget! You must be there if you want the framed picture at the Athletic Banquet on June 13th.
Track & Field athletes, remember that you have SOSSA tomorrow and/or Thursday. You are to be at Centennial HS for 11:30am tomorrow. And 8 am for Thursday. See you at the mandatory practice today!
On Thursday, the girls soccer team played in the West Niagara Tournament. The girls had a very successful day, tying 2 games, and winning 2 games earning their spot in the finals. By the end of the semi - finals the team dominated and had 8 goals for and only 1 goal against. The girls played West Niagara in the finals, playing with so much heart and grit. It was 0-0 at full time and headed in penalty kicks. Although we didn’t get the result we wanted, the day ended on a great note and looking forward to the next few weeks of the season. Julianne M., Leah W. (who scored 3 goals), Rylee S., Scarlett S., and Camyron D. scored at the tournament, and amazing saves and play by Lily R.. A reminder we have practice tonight right after school.
Attention members of the Junior AND Senior boys soccer teams. There will be a mandatory meeting today at the beginning of lunch in the gym foyer. Please see Mr. Shannon or Mr. Edwards if you cannot attend.
