The results from the E, L and C picture competition during period 1 yesterday are in! Cyclones you got so creative! In first place was Mr. MacDonald’s grade 9 math class, in second place was Mrs. Halsted’s Grade 10 science class and in third place was Mr. Beldings Gr 11 and 12 Green Industries Class. Colours wars points will be given to the winning classes! Today is "socks and sandals" day - could period 1 teachers please count and record (on the google form linked in the ELC Staffroom) the number of students in their class that are wearing socks and sandals . If you have a split class - please complete multiple forms - or, if easier, just send me an email to Mrs. Varga with the numbers for each grade! Also a reminder that Thursday is colour wars day (grade 9’s wear red, grade 10’s wear yellow, grade 11’s wear green and grade 12’s wear blue. Staff you are reminded to wear purple 🙂) and Friday is a quick activity for your period 2 class!
The Wainfleet Fall Fair is in need of volunteers for this Saturday to help run activities for kids. If interested check out the Student Services D2L page. Do not delay. Get those hours done now!

Congratulations to the entire Senior Tennis team as they showcased their talents at yesterday’s Zone competition. Almost all of our athletes advanced to SOSSA on October 2, but they certainly had a great day regardless.
Hey there Grade 9 students - your amazing LINK CREW team will be running a dodgeball tournament next week - starting MONDAY at lunch. Start thinking about who you want on your team of 8 - it can be anyone that is in Grade 9. Sign up starts tomorrow! It's time to Dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge.
