Today during Period 3 our Grade 9 Geography Recycling Team will be coming to your classrooms to pick up your recycling bins. Please ensure that your ‘blue’ and ‘grey’ bins have been properly sorted, and that your bins are placed outside your classroom or office doors after lunch. Thank you!
Hey, have you seen the Clothespin survivor posters around the school? Don’t you worry you are going to learn all about it next Wednesday and Friday during period 3. It is a school wide event.
Any students eligible for Indigenous supports and looking for a summer job? Please sign up in Guidance to attend a quick presentation from the Canadian Armed Forces, Sgt Starks. He will be presenting possible Indigenous Entry programs into the Forces. The presentation will be about 20 mins long and he will be here to present in December. Sign up today!

The Risk Board Game Tournament is starting Monday. If you haven’t signed up yet, do so today in room 305. If you don’t know how to play Risk, that’s ok, it’s pretty easy and we’ll teach you. So take a Risk and try to conquer the world.
Broadway Culture Club Reminder: Today, we face the final curtain! Our final viewing of Hamilton will happen today at lunch in room 204. What should we watch next? Funny Girl? Newsies? In the Heights? The Wiz? Come with ideas and your Jazz Hands!

A big shout out to The Jr Boys volleyball team, who played a hard played game yesterday against a strong Myer team. The boys showed off their skill and were great teammates. We are so proud of your season. We can’t wait for next year!
Huge congratulations to the Senior Boys Volleyball team for their 3-0 win against the Centennial Cougars for the Zone Championship win. Thank you to everyone who came to support the team and for bringing us that Cyclone Energy!! The team is reminded that there will be a practice today after school. See you there!
Attention all Crossley novice rowers or newcomers to Crossley or Crossley rowing. The winter indoor rowing program will be starting next Tuesday, Nov 14th right here at the school after school. It runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school and it is fitness and friendships and a fun way to develop your rowing skills while belonging to one of the biggest teams at Crossley. ALL newcomers are welcome regardless of age. Come dressed in fitness clothes and include some outdoor gear in case we venture outside if the weather looks good. Practices are done by 4.00pm the latest if not sooner. Easy peasy. Meet in the gym foyer at 2.15pm. If you have any questions or concerns see Mr. Ruscitti in Room 206. Time to rock n’ row! Go blue and gold!
