Your very own E.L Crossley Chess Team played a fantastic and energetic tournament at Eastdale on Friday. Three students proved themselves to be both competitive and professional players - improving their overall scores and ratings from the tournament held at A.N Myer. Well done team! We’ll see you tomorrow during Chess Club! As a reminder - we are always accepting new members! It’s never too late to learn how to “Checkmate!”

Who Dunnit? Never got a chance to experience “I DO?” the Who Dunnit Dinner created by Crossley’s senior drama class? Enjoy this immersive experience on January 18th from 4:30 to 7:30 - be treated to a Pizza dinner provided by the Culinary Program, and to live music provided by The Heart Broke Hillbillies! Bring your dancin’ boots! Maybe you and your friends can figure out - WHO DUNNIT? What exactly remains to be seen! Tickets are 25$ and are now available through Cash Online - only 45 tickets left! Reminder to all Crossley rowers that practices continue this week for all experienced and novice rowers. Novice rowers are out Tuesday and Thursday with the traditional Candy Cane 4K Erg Challenge happening on Thursday. No problem- one stroke at a time. You can do this! Senior rowers are out all week and junior rowers are out 4x this week. Keep it going. Perseverance helps you get it; consistency helps you keep it. Go blue and gold!
In the Intramural Hockey league, the Green team takes on the Orange team today and the Blue team faces the Yellow team on Thursday.
