On Thursday afternoon, the Sr. Boys Basketball team traveled to Westlane Secondary School to compete in the Zone 3 Final. Playing in front of a packed Westlane gym, the boys quickly fell behind 21-2 to start the game. Despite the slow start, the boys showed their heart and determination, battling back to cut the lead to single digits entering the fourth quarter. After trailing the entire game, the boys took the lead with only a few minutes to play. After a few lead changes down the stretch, the boys sealed the victory, capped off by a huge 3-pointer and 2 free throws. With the win, the boys captured the Zone 3 championship and advanced to SOSSA on Friday at Governor Simcoe.
