Looking for a summer job? The City of Welland is hiring. Come to the front office or student services to pick up a brochure or visit their website, welland.ca to apply.

This Wed. Feb. 28 is pink shirt Day. Wear anything pink to show that you stand against bullying. 

GUESS IT. Do you like to guess the number of candies in a jar? How about trying to win a Crossley sweatshirt and/or a Colour wars t shirt or maybe the skittles in the jar?  The students going to Costa Rica are fundraising for this. All guesses are worth $1. If you want to win guess at lunchtime in the main foyer. Debit and Credit are accepted. The winner will be announced on Tuesday March 5th.

Attention yearbook members! We will have a short meeting at lunch today! See you there! 

Attention anyone who baked for the Bake Sale on Valentine's day, if you still need to get your tupperware please see Mr Dickinson in room 302 on lunch today.

ARTS

Attention Singers! There will be a Vocals rehearsal after school today in the music room beginning at 2:15

SPORTS

Congrats to all of the rowers for participating and having the courage to compete and challenge yourself this past Saturday at the Ontario Indoor Rowing Provincial Championships. There were numerous top 10 finishes and there is always a special t-shirt to come away with from the provincials.

There was also a number of medals earned:

Regular practices resume on Monday and continue until getting on the water for the spring rowing and racing season. Do NOT miss practices. Stay the course. CONSISTENCY AND COMMUNICATION ARE THE CORNERSTONES TO CROSSLEY CHAMPIONS. Go blue and gold!

On Friday the Sr. Boys Basketball team competed in SOSSA at Governor Simcoe. Playing in front of a home buy-in crowd, the boys fought hard to cut an early Simcoe lead to single-digits into the half. In the second half, the shots stopped falling, as the boys fell to the Red Coats. Coach Bleich and Coach Petro would like to thank the boys for a terrific season. This is a reminder to return your washed jersey to Mr. Petro ASAP. 

Attention all boys interested in trying out for the Sr. Boys Baseball team, there is now a sign-up sheet outside of Room 406. Please sign-up ASAP if you plan on trying out for the team as tryouts will begin this week. Please see Mr. Petro if you have any questions.
