Looking for a summer job? The City of Welland is hiring. Come to the front office or student services to pick up a brochure or visit their website, welland.ca to apply.

School Nurse Dana is here at Crossley on Wednesdays! The nurse office is located in the student services office. Feel free to walk in or text to make an appointment 289-241-1892.

Want to be part of the change in culture around mental health? Join our EL Crossley Wellness Club! We’re meeting today at lunch time in student services. Bring your lunch and friend along with you. All are welcome to join.

CLUBS

There will be an Interact meeting at lunch today in room 303 — this meeting will be to plan our long term goals for the rest of the semester, and would be a perfect opportunity for new members to join in. We hope to see you there!

The Oddity Film Society will be watching something today, maybe it will be something Irishy like the award nominated and winning Banshees of Inisherin. 

Seniors interested in being part of this year’s Mock Trial team are asked to meet Thursday after school in Mrs Barber’s room - 204 -  until 4PM.

Attention Jazz Band! For this week only - Jazz Band will be rehearsing after school tomorrow (that’s Thursday). See you then!

SPORTS

Are you interested in being on the largest team at Crossley? Well Track and Field is for you. You will make many new friends, which is always the best part. Track and Field sign ups are in the gym foyer. Read the board for important dates. We start March 25th. Pole vault on March 20th.

A reminder to those interested in playing for the Junior boys soccer team this season. Our 2nd tryout will be tomorrow immediately after school on the field. Please see Mr. Edwards, Mr. Shannon or Mr. Lafferty if you have any questions.

Huge congratulations to a student for her performance at OFSAA Swimming yesterday.  She made the A final in the 200 Free where she placed 9th in the entire province and narrowly missed the finals in the 100 Free.  Great work!  Gentlemen have their chance today.

After a long season the Crossley Intramural Hockey League came to a close yesterday.  This year’s Championship team was the yellow team.  The Consolation champions were the Green team.  Players are reminded to wash their jerseys and watch their emails for when the year end party and awards will be.
