Looking for a summer job? The City of Welland is hiring. Come to the front office or student services to pick up a brochure or visit their website, welland.ca to apply.

All grade 12 graduating students are asked to check the Grade 12 D2L page and complete the Google Form that will be used by the E.L. Crossley scholarship committee to determine eligibility for awards.  You must complete the form to be considered for awards.

Graduating students who plan on attending Brock University are reminded to apply for the Niagara Principal’s Scholarship.  Application process is available online.    

CLUBS

Seniors interested in being part of this year’s Mock Trial team are asked to meet today after school in Mrs Barber’s room - 204 -  until 4PM.

Reminder to all yearbook members! We are meeting after school today to work on the yearbook from 2-5! See you there!

ARTS

Attention Jazz Band Members! Just a reminder that jazz band will be hip and happening after school today in the music room beginning at 2:15pm. 

Shaw Festival Trip - A reminder to the CAST and CREW of “ I DO” and vocal class to purchase their tickets for Shaw Festival through CASH ONLINE. The only way to hold your ticket is to purchase it.  Please remember to bring your Green Form to Ms. Benson.

SPORTS 

The girls hockey team competed at SOSSA on Wednesday in Flamborough. The team played well with a spectacular goal. Can all members of the team please come to Mr. Bhan’s room TODAY at lunch for a very quick meeting about hoodies? Thank you for a great season hockey girls!

A reminder to those interested in playing Boys soccer this season. The JUNIOR boys will be having a tryout today immediately after school on the field. The SENIOR boys will be having a tryout first thing tomorrow morning at 6:30 on the field. Please see Mr. Edwards, Mr. Shannon or Mr. Lafferty if you have any questions.

Congratulations to the ELC Swim Team for a tremendous year as their season wrapped yesterday with our boys competing at OFSAA.  Best finish was a top 20 placement for our medley relay–first time in over a decade that we sent two relay teams!  Thanks to Mr. Dickinson for making the journey with us so we could experience the championship.

Reminder for the junior boys basketball team to come by room 302 for lunch with the team today.
