DAYS OF SIGNIFICANCE:
Chaitra Navratri is a nine day festivity which starts on the first day of Hindu Luni-Solar calendar. This festival is dedicated to Mother Goddess Shakti and Goddess Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati. Chanting of mantra, pujas, fasting and various rituals are part of the festivities. (Hinduism)
Eid Al-Fitr-This marks the end of the Ramadan fast and is celebrated for 3 days. Date of observance may vary according to sighting of the new moon.(Islam)
