DAY OF SIGNIFICANCE: 

Armenian Genocide Memorial Day is a public holiday in Armenia and the Republic of Arsakh and is observed by the Armenian diaspora in Canada. It is held annually to commemorate the victims of the Armenian genocide of 1915. (Canadian Government)

Mid-Term Report cards were distributed yesterday, if you did not get yours please come to the main office to pick it up.

Graduating students are reminded to check the Grade 12 D2L for scholarship opportunities.  Several awards for Crossley students only have been posted.

Interested in doing a Military Full Day Co-op with the Canadian Armed Forces? There will be a presentation in the lecture hall. Please see Mr. Marquis to sign up in Room 308.

ARTS

Attention Crossley Vocals! Please meet in the first floor music room at the beginning of lunch to get your picture taken. Even if you forgot your shirt, please come to the room.

Attention Jazz Band Members! Jazz band will be hip and happening after school today at 2:15. Please bring your music shirts and see you there!

SPORTS

There will be a meeting for the lacrosse team today at lunch in room 318, all team members required to attend. 

Yesterday, the girls soccer team kicked off their season at Notre dame tournament. The team had an exciting morning by defeating Ridley College in penalty kicks and GFESS 4-0, coming in 1st in their pool. The girls played Holy cross in the semi finals coming up a little short in a 1-0 loss. The team showcased their athleticism and talent which will surely bring an exciting season. Way to go girls. Practice tomorrow right after school. 

Congratulations to the Senior Boys Soccer team for a great day at yesterday’s tournament at Notre Dame. The boys defeated Heritage Christian and GFESS in their first 2 games to win their group. They played a tightly-contested semi-final match against St. Jean de Brébeuf but fell just short as the game went into penalties. The boys showed their class, hardwork and dedication throughout the day and they should be excited for the rest of the season. Way to go boys!

Come out to see our Senior boys play their 1st home game of the season as they host Centennial on Friday after school. Go Cyclones!
