SPORTS
On Thursday morning the Varsity Boys Baseball team competed in the Zone 3 semi-final. Looking to get over the hump, the boys got out to an incredible start, cashing in 3 runs off a triple in the top of the first inning. The starting pitcher was sensational, followed by two other pitchers. After trading runs back and forth, the Cyclones found themselves down 7-5 heading into the 7th and final inning. With the lead-off runner in scoring position, we cashed in with an RBI double to cut the lead to 7-6. After a few close calls, the boys were unable to drive in the game-tying run, losing 7-6. Coach Petro and Coach Cunningham want to thank all members of the team for their admirable effort and an excellent season.
