Grade 12 students if you are planning to invite a guest to the prom who DOES NOT attend E.L. Crossley, please check D2L and complete a prom guest form and drop it off at the office once completed. If you are planning to invite a guest who DOES attend E.L. Crossley, stop by the office and we will make the ticket available for you to purchase on school cash online.

Today in room 203 we are featuring Chicken Souvlaki pita with lettuce tomato and roasted garlic dill sauce. We also have a few hotdogs as well as the usual refreshing treats available today.

Are you interested in planning school wide activities, creating school spirit and developing leadership skills? Then, students’ council is the club for you! Nomination forms are available from Mrs. Varga in room 113 and Ms. Ranieri in room 308. A reminder that complete forms are due by the end of the day tomorrow!

Crossley for Christ is meeting on Friday this week. Do you want to learn more about how to have a faith? Make a new friend. Eat lunch in community? All are welcome. Hope to see you in room 402 on Friday.

The Oddity Film Society will be watching Neil Jordan’s Breakfast on Pluto starring Cillian Murphy after school today. It’s worth a peek.

Grads are reminded that today is the last day to nominate your Class of 2024 Valedictorian!  Please see the link in the D2L.

There will be an Interact meeting today at lunch in room 303 — even though the semester is finishing, we would always love some new members to help plan our next initiative! We hope to see you there!

Attention Jazz Band! Just a reminder that rehearsal this week is TOMORROW, that’s Thursday, at 2:15 in the music room. See you there!

The track and field team is dismissed at 10:40 am today to catch their bus to SOSSA. Wish them the best.

Congratulations to the Senior Boys Soccer team for wrapping up their regular season in style with a convincing 2-0 win against Collegiate yesterday. The boys braved the sweltering heat and put forth a great all around performance to seal the victory. In the 1st half, our goalkeeper kept us in the game with some solid net play and in the 2nd half, our stand-in goalkeeper made some incredible saves and even saved a penalty in the dying seconds of the game to preserve the clean sheet. A huge thanks goes out to all of the Junior players who stepped up to help the team in the absence of some of the senior players. Great job guys!

Come out today to cheer our Senior Boys as they play their first round playoff game at home against Westlane at 3:00 and our Junior Boys as they play their first round playoff game against Stamford afterwards at 4:30. Good luck Cyclones!
