SPORTS

Congratulations to the Junior and Senior boys soccer teams on their zone semi-final wins against Stamford and Westlane yesterday. Wish them luck as they prepare for their zone final games next week.

Congratulations to the Girls Slo-Pitch team as they competed at the DSBN Large Schools Tournament. Our young inexperienced team played well together facing Eden in our first game finishing with an exciting tie, we played AN Myer in the second game facing a very experienced team. Our last game of the pool play was against Governor Simcoe where time was not on our side. We broke out to a 14 run lead in the 3rd inning but could not finish the game within the timelines. This meant that we finished the game in a tie. Overall the girls showed great improvement and team spirit. Thanks for a great tournament!
