School closing celebrations are being held for Winger and Willam E. Brown schools on June 1st from 10am to 2pm. Please see posters located in the lobby by the office door for details.
Today during Period 4 our Grade 9 Geography Recycling Team will be coming to your classrooms to pick up your recycling bins. Please ensure that your ‘blue’ and ‘grey’ bins have been properly sorted, and that your bins are placed outside your classroom or office doors for the start of Period 4 today. Thank you!
Hey Cyclones! Do you like hotdogs? Well if you do, it’s your lucky day! Today is HOTDOGAPALOOZA in 203 at lunch! That means we are featuring $2.50 Glizzies, $2 Corn Dogs and $4 Spicy Italian sausage with Peppers and Sauteed Onions on a Texas style bun. We were also able to bake you fresh vanilla cupcakes with chocolate buttercream today for only $2 each. Last day to get $1.50 juice and don’t forget to pick up a cold treat for your favourite person today! Thank you for all your support these past three weeks!
If you are playing Capture the Flag on Monday at Cyclone Day, grade 9’s bring a green t-shirt for the game as you are pairing up with the 11’s and grade 10’s bring a blue t-shirt for the game as you are pairing up with the 12’s.

Crossley for Christ is meeting today. Come join us in community. Learn about how to deal with those difficult days, who to lean into, and make a new friend. Bring your lunch and see you in room 402. All are welcome.
Broadway Culture Club is postponed this week. We hope to be back next week to complete our viewing of The Prom.
The ELC Wellness Club is again welcoming therapy dogs to the school before exams start later this month! This will take place on Wednesday June 5th during period 2 and lunch. The activity will be held in the room at the back of student services. Come to student services to sign up and pick up your consent form. Consent forms must be signed by a parent/guardian in order to participate. Please reach out to school social worker Carleen or Nurse Dana with any questions.

SPORTS
A reminder to the members of the Senior boys soccer team to return your uniforms to either Mr. Edwards or Mr. Shannon, who will verify that you have returned what was lent to you ( both tops and one pair of shorts).
Congratulations to the entire track & field team who competed at the OFSAA qualifier meet the past 2 days. Of the 31 athletes, 14 have qualified in their events for OFSAA for next week. If you still need to hand in your singlet, it is due TODAY. Please see Mr Lew or Mrs Mergl to drop it off. The following announcement is for the entire Track & Field team. There will be a FULL Team picture taken on June 11th at lunch. Also, please register for the athletic banquet which is going to be held on the same day.
