Cross Country Running practices begin today after school.

This school team is open to all who wish to improve their cardiovascular health over the next two months by committing to 2-4 practices per week.

Meet in the Gym foyer after school, changed and prepared to jog.

Teachers involved include Mr. Edwards, Mr. Shannon and Ms. Kiley.

ROWING

ELC Rowing is one of the largest teams in the school and promises fun, fitness and friends. Rowing is a classic Canadian sport as we are a land of many waters. Many newcomers to Crossley- grade 9s or new students- have not had the opportunity to try this sport. Well you are in the right school at the right time because we have one of the most successful programs in the country and most blue and gold rowers started just like you as novices in high school. There is a Learn to Row program that runs in the Fall through our host club on the Welland canal. It runs on the weekends and offers lots of flexible options making it easy for you to do other activities and get off to a good start to your school year. Information will be coming to you in your grade 9 classes this week. In the meantime, if you have questions or need more info please stop by to see Mr. Ruscitti in Room 206. Go blue and gold! Rock n’ ROW!

Right after school, in the small gym, the junior boys will be having an open gym. Please make sure that the online permission to participate form is completed. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Di Santo in room 306. See you there!

Today after school will be the first senior boys volleyball tryout in the big gym.  Please see Mrs. Gibson or Ms. Kropac if you have any questions.
