ROWING

ELC Rowing is one of the largest teams in the school and promises fun, fitness and friends. Rowing is a classic Canadian sport as we are a land of many waters. Many newcomers to Crossley- grade 9s or new students- have not had the opportunity to try this sport. Well you are in the right school at the right time because we have one of the most successful programs in the country and most blue and gold rowers started just like you as novices in high school. There is a Learn to Row program that runs in the Fall through our host club on the Welland canal. It runs on the weekends and offers lots of flexible options making it easy for you to do other activities and get off to a good start to your school year. It starts next weekend and you can register online or by registering at the club. There is an open house tomorrow Saturday from 9am-noon at the rowing club. Come down and check it out. All newcomers of any grade are welcome. In the meantime, if you have questions or need more info please stop by to see Mr. Ruscitti in Room 206. Go blue and gold! Rock n’ ROW!

Jr Girls Basketball

Reminder to all grade 9 and 10 girls, that our try-outs for the jr girls Basketball team continues today after school in the big gym. Please see Mr. Marquis if you cannot make it.
