CLUBS
The EL Crossley GSA will begin meeting again starting this Tuesday. We meet every Tuesday at lunch in room 401. Members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and allies are always welcome.
The Oddity Film Society will be opening the cinema soon, so if you love movies, love entertainment, love the unusual, love popcorn, stop by room 305 for information and permission forms.
Students Council is excited to announce that next week will be our first spirit week! Get ready for some classroom competitions and spirit days! Throughout the year students can participate in spirit days and competitions to earn points for your grade. This Monday we will start off with a class activity during period 1 followed by socks and sandals day on Tuesday. On Wednesday we will have our first colour wars day. On Wednesday you earn points by wearing red if you are in grade 9, wearing yellow in grade 10, green for grade 11’s and blue for grade 12’s. Stop by the spirit wear store at lunch today and next week to get a Crossley grade wars shirt for only $5!

Cross-Country running
The Cross-Country teams are looking for some additional runners in all categories (Novice, Junior and Senior) and invite you to join us any day after school to build your jogging endurance. Make your heart and lungs work more efficiently! Come join us in the gym foyer after school!
Rowing
The Learn to Row program kicks off this weekend and the weather looks to be a Crossley blue sky and golden shiny water. Join us at either the 9am shift or 11am shift on Saturday and Sunday. Come dressed ready to row and wear your workout gear and layers if it is cooler temps. Dress for success. It is open to all Crossley students whether in grade 9 or above and it is your golden chance to try this truly Canadian sport in this land that loves water. Crossley Rowing is one of the biggest co-ed teams in the school and Cyclone strong. Don’t worry if you have not registered yet, there will be opportunities at the club and people there to assist you. Just show up ready to go. Notre Dame Rowing Club is our host club and is located at the bottom of Thorold Road in Welland. Google the directions. You never know unless you go. It’s time to ROCK N’ ROW!!! and have some blue and gold fun!
