If you are a senior student interested in finding out more information about a SHSM for Business, see Mr. Middleton in Room 209. This is also a great opportunity for students who plan to take Business in college or university.

The EL Crossley GSA will begin meeting again starting this Tuesday. We meet every Tuesday at lunch in room 401. Members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and allies are always welcome.

We’re excited to announce the return of our annual Dodgeball Tournament! If you're ready to dodge, duck, and dive, don't miss out! This year, everyone is welcome! We are not limiting the tournament to only grade 9’s. Sign-ups will take place in the gym foyer on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday this week. Bring a friend or sign up by yourself—we’ll make sure everyone gets placed on a team. Don’t miss out on the fun, competition, and a chance to claim dodgeball glory! See you on the court!

Cross-Country Running
We are still looking for a few willing students to participate with the cross-country team. Having depth can assist in any unforeseen injury or absence to our teams. We particularly need grade 10 boys and are welcoming to any additional student who would like to get in jogging shape.

Reminder to the Jr Girl Basketball Players that we practice today after school and our Wednesday practice has been moved to Thursday after school.
There will be a Sr. Girls meeting today at lunch in room 103. Please see Mr. Petro or Mr. Belding if you cannot make it. There is practice tonight at 2:30 in the main gym.
Great weather and a great turnout for the Learn to Row program this past weekend. Almost 50 grade nines were out on the Welland Canal rockin and rowin! If you missed getting out this weekend, or encountered any obstacles, we are glad to help you out. Stop by and see Mr. Ruscitti any day this week at the beginning of lunch in Room 206 and we will get you all sorted out. It’s not too late to come out and participate with one of the largest and most unique teams at Crossley- the ELC Rowing program. Go blue and gold!
Last announcement: Today is the first day of our spirit Crossley! Any grade 12’s on spare during period 1 are asked to go to room 402 to meet with Mr. Dickinson for participation in the spirit weeks! Before we get things going, a reminder that tomorrow is “socks and sandals” day. You earn points for your grade by simply wearing socks and sandals! Wednesday will be colour wars day - which means gr 9’s should wear red, gr 10’s yellow, gr 11’s green and gr 12’s blue! Our activity for today is for period 1 classes and it is a digital scavenger hunt. Staff have been emailed the link to the scavenger hunt….students are not allowed to the leave the classroom to find the answers! We will share the results of the scavenger hunt tomorrow morning - good to all and have fun!
