SPORTS
Any girls in the building who would be interested in an upcoming one day Flag Football Tournament in Welland, need to be at a meeting Monday, October 21st at the start of lunch in the gym foyer.
Your Jr girls basketball team is at the Sir Winston basketball tourney. After winning their first game against Thorold Secondary, they moved on to the semi finals where they played our cross town rivals Notre Dame. The girls came prepared and ramped up the intensity to get out to a flying start ending the first quarter up 16-2. They never looked back and moved onto the championship game today at Sir Winston at 2:15.
Congratulations to the members of the Cross Country team on their great overall showing at yesterday’s zone final meet in Niagara Falls. Crossley was well represented at the Novice, Junior and Senior levels throughout the day. Next week, many of our runners will be heading to Hamilton for the SOSSA finals due to their hard work and training. Way to go runners!
The Sr. Girls Basketball team will be taking on the AN Myer Marauders tonight at Niagara College in the Pat Laing Hoops Classic. Tip off is at 6:30 come cheer the team on!
