Treaties Recognition Week-This week honors the importance of treaties and why they are relevant. This learning will support students to understand treaty rights and relationships in their local community as well as across the province and country. (Ontario)

An update on the Halloween spirit days from last week! The winners from the period 2 paper chain link activity are - in first place - Mrs. Varga’s class, 2nd place - Mrs. Pomeroy's class and in third place - Mr. McDonald's class!
And there was a 5 way tie for the Halloween movie trivia on Friday. Getting all 12 movies correct were Mr. Lafferty, Mrs. Halsted, Mrs. Barber, Mme Kuczera and Ms. Desmond's period 3 classes! Thank you to all for participating!

Congratulations to the Crossley novice rowers who participated in the Learn to Row regatta on Saturday at the Welland canal. You showed true blue and gold spirit as you rock and rowed down the course. A lot to look forward to for the novice rowers as you now transition to the ELC Rowing program- the school team- and head indoors to work on your fitness and technique as you prepare for the spring racing season. The Intramural Hockey League starts its season this week with Blue vs. Green today and Orange vs. Yellow on Thursday.
