Remembrance Day-This day commemorates the soldiers killed in World Wars I and II and is in remembrance for all those who have given their lives in service of their country. Canadians always set aside this day in memory of those who gave their lives for freedom. Many observers wear red poppies as a symbol of this day. (Canadian Government)

Attention all Learn to Row participants and those interested in participating with the Crossley Rowing team next spring. The winter training program will begin on Tuesday, Nov 19th (next week). It runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school and includes fitness, friends and fun times. It is an opportunity to improve your overall fitness and rowing technique, and takes place here at the school. All newcomers are welcome. There will be more announcements to come, so stay tuned; And it is flexible allowing you to participate with other teams and clubs. If you have any questions, see Mr. Ruscitti in Room 206. Attention all Sr. and Jr. boys looking to try out for the basketball teams here this winter, there will be an open gym tonight from 4 to 6 pm. This is not a formal tryout but a great opportunity to get involved and shake off some rust. Please see Mr. Petro in room 406 if you have any questions.
