The Jr Girls basketball team played the Zone championship last night against Centennial. The game was very physical and scrappy with both teams racking up the fouls. Centennial had a 6 point lead at half and then increased it to 10 to start the fourth quarter. Our girls showed a lot of pride and resilience to get the score all the way down to 2. We had a chance to tie twice but unfortunately no foul or basket was called or made. The Jr girls should hold their heads high as their coaches and fans are very proud of the season they had! Go Cyclones! Reminder to bring your Jersey back to Mr. Marquis.
Attention all Learn to Row participants and those interested in participating with the Crossley Rowing team next spring. The winter training program will begin on Tuesday, Nov 19th (next week). It runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school and includes fitness, friends and fun times. It is an opportunity to improve your overall fitness and rowing technique, and takes place here at the school. All newcomers are welcome; and it is flexible allowing you to participate with other teams and clubs. Join us after school beginning next Tuesday and please wear your fitness gear. If you have any questions, see Mr. Ruscitti in Room 206. Go blue and gold!
Last night, the Jr boys volleyball team played in the zone finals against AN Myer. It was a tough match but the boys battled through but fell just a little short. The boys battled injuries, sickness, and a couple bumps along the way but in the end proved that they are competitors and are left hungrier than ever! So proud of all of your hard work this season. Please bring back your jerseys to Ms. Di Santo ASAP.
