Feast of the Nativity/Orthodox Christmas (Gregorian Calendar)-The feast of the Nativity of Jesus is one of the most joyful days of the Orthodox Church and is seen as the day that Jesus became a man into the world as a saviour. Eastern Orthodox Christians recognize this day as Christmas - 13 days later - because they follow the Julian calendar rather than the Gregorian version of the Western calendar. Girls Hockey- This is a reminder for girls hockey of our game today against Eden at 1:45 at the Accipiter Arena. Please excuse the players for 12:30 for the game.
Welcome back Crossley rowers. Time to rock n’ ROW as the indoor racing season is soon upon us. Novice rowers are reminded of practice on Tuesday and Thursday after school, and to come to an alternate day(Monday, Wednesday or Friday) if you have to miss Tuesday or Thursday. Check your email for team updates. The first novice competition is on Feb 1 and we want to help you succeed and feel good about yourself and your effort on that day. A favorite Crossley Rowing saying is “If you fail to prepare, be prepared to fail”. Keep up the excellent attendance and attitudes and the new altitudes you are reaching. Go blue and gold!
