CLUBS
Hey E.L Crossley students and staff! Did you know that our school has a Black Student Association? If not, well now you do! We meet every Wednesday at lunch in room 306. Our BSA club is hosting a movie night on Wednesday, February 5th to celebrate Black History Month. We will be watching Black Panther right after school. Head to School Cash Online to get all the details and sign up for free. Spots are limited so make sure to sign up soon.
Parlez-vous français? French Club will meet at lunch today in Room 302. Bring your lunch and bring a friend!
All Grade 9 students are reminded to check their email to place their order for their FREE Crossley T-shirt!
Semi formal ticket sales have now closed. In preparation for our semi, we will be having table sign-ups throughout all of next week! Talk with your friends and make groups of between 2 and 10 people that you want to sit with at semi. Please be ready to have ONE person from your group be a representative to sign up your table. If you have a group bigger than 10, don’t worry. Make multiple tables and you can request to have tables near each other. If you have less than 10, that’ okay too! If there are not 10 people at your table or you don’t have a group, we will match you up with others from your grade!
SPORTS
Attention all Crossley rowers. After school practices resume for experienced and novice rowers. It is very, very important that all novice rowers attend practice today in preparation for the competition on Saturday. All novices participating were informed last week and entries have been put in. Please bring in the permission forms that were sent out and make your school cash online payment for the entry fee. If there are any questions, please see Mr. Ruscitti today in room 206 or at practice. Racing is fun, motivating and you get to be part of a big blue and gold team. Go Cyclones!
