TODAY’S NEWS
There is an important Student Council meeting today after school in Room 113. The meeting will only take about 20-30 minutes, however there are some urgent matters to address before the weekend! Please see Ms. Ranieri, Ms. Varga or Ms. Kuczera with any questions 🙂
Today at lunch corsages will be on sale in the lobby for semi. If you are interested, check out the table in the front foyer. Orders will be taken, cash or e-transfer accepted.
CLUBS
Semi formal ticket sales have now closed. Today is the last day that you can make a request of who you want to sit with at semi. Talk with your friends and make groups of between 2 and 10 people. Please send ONE person from your group to the student council members in the main foyer at lunch today. If you have a group bigger than 10, don’t worry. Make multiple tables and you can request to have tables near each other. If you have less than 10, that is okay too! If there are not 10 people at your table or you don’t have a group, we will match you up with others from your grade! If you have any questions or concerns, please see Mrs. Varga in room 113.
SPORTS
The novice rowing practice from Thursday (school closure) has been moved to today Friday. All novices are reminded that they will be competing on Saturday, March 1st at Ridley in the Ontario Indoor Rowing championships along with the rest of the team members; that means preparation. Preparation means training and getting to practice. At practice the coaches can help you with technique and race prep. Help us, help you. It is inspirational to be training in a group with other motivated athletes. See you after school in the athletic foyer. You’re doing a great job- keep it going. Go blue and gold!
