SPORTS

Huge congratulations to the Swim Team on their performance at SOSSA yesterday! Lots of great moments in the pool including qualifying swims by Ryan Z and Holden T, and an impressive SOSSA gold AND qualifying time for Lily R. Looking forward to what these three can accomplish at OFSAA in three weeks!

A big congratulations goes out to the Girls Hockey Team for their win yesterday! Sasha T. earned an incredible shutout in the 4-0 win over St Jean De Brebeuf in a zone finals preview. The entire team played a great game with the defence helping shut everything down on the back end. Ella P. sniped early on the first shift and the team never looked back. Danika F., Kayla D. and Amara V. also scored in the decisive victory. Great job girls!

Great workout by the novice rowers yesterday. Excellent attendance and excellent effort. You are welcome and encouraged to attend practice on any day in order to achieve your 3 practice per week minimum leading up to the Ontario Indoor Rowing Championships at Ridley on March 1st. Everyone is steadily improving. Keep it going and keep up that Cyclone spirit. Go blue and gold!
