DAYS OF SIGNIFICANCE

Losar New Year-Losar is the most important traditional festival of the year, and it is also the first Tibetan festival. At that time, each Tibetan family would reunite together to hold a variety of activities to celebrate the arrival of the New Year. (Buddhism – Tibetan, Bhutan)

Wishing the EL Crossley community a Ramadan Mubarak, or a blessed Ramadan! For the next month, Muslims around the world will observe Ramadan, a time of fasting, prayer, reflection, community and self-betterment. It’s a period of spiritual growth; one of the most sacred times for Muslims. It is the month the Holy Quran was revealed. Ramadan encourages those who observe to be more mindful of their words, actions and intentions, and to strive for inner peace.
