Mardi Gras-In French, Mardi Gras translates to Fat Tuesday and is officially the day before Ash Wednesday (a Catholic Holiday). This day is also commonly referred to as Shrove Tuesday or Pancake Day and is celebrated most notably in New Orleans.

Rowing: A reminder to all Crossley rowers experienced and novice alike that there is a mandatory spring rowing info meeting tonight here at the school in the lecture hall at 6pm. Team gear and racing unisuits will be on display and available for purchase starting at 4pm. It is important that you and a parent/guardian attend this meeting so that you are prepared for the upcoming water season. Crossley rowers are expected to attend practice today as per usual which includes the novices- do not miss practice because of the meeting. They line up nicely (intentional) .
And likewise for the swim test tomorrow at 6.30pm at the Kiwanis pool in St. St. Catharines. DSBN mandatory. If you have any questions or concerns, please speak to Mr. Ruscitti. Go blue and gold!

If you’re interested in joining one of Crossley’s largest teams sign up by filling out the QR code on the Gym Doors or on the office window across from the daily announcements. Sr. Girls Volleyball: And finally the same message to our SR Girls Volleyball team in North Bay! They finished the day with 1 win and 2 close losses but have a great chance to win both their games today to advance to the medal rounds. Good luck girls!!
