SPORTS
The Jr. Boys Soccer team has added a new trophy to the trophy case by defeating the defending champion, A.N. Myer, at home last night and claiming the DSBN Jr. Boys Trophy. The young Cyclones stayed resilient and made a memorable comeback after conceding an early goal. The boys went on to score three goals, courtesy of Hayden S., Kai K., and Matt R. Kai K. also provided two assists.
A.N. Myer tried their best to get back into the game in the final 10 minutes, but our defense and goalkeeper Alex Rittner ensured that Crossley would secure the win—and that the trophy would stay with us for at least another year. Final score: 3–1! Way to go, Cyclones!
Attention senior boys soccer players. This is a reminder of your practice after school ahead of your SOSSA championships tomorrow at Holy Cross. Please be on the field, warmed up and ready to go by 2:30.
