SPORTS

The Senior Boys Soccer team’s season ended yesterday with a heartbreaking penalty shootout loss at the SOSSA semi-final. They dominated possession throughout the game and were very unlucky to not come away with the win. The boys enjoyed a great season and can hold their heads up high as zone champions. Your coaches are all proud of your efforts this season. Great job Cyclones!

The girls soccer team played in SOSSA yesterday winning their first game against Dundas Valley 4-0.  The team had some dynamic plays that ended up in goals by Scarlett S., Ainsley M., Peyton G., and Claire P.  Next up, the team played DM. They were defensive, aggressive and went into OT and ultimately, penalty kicks.  The team ended their season with a heartbreaking loss but an outstanding performance by our goal keeper, Lily R.  Another great season comes to an end and we are all so proud of you.  Go Cyclones.
