CLUBS

Table sign ups for Semi Formal will start on Monday in the front foyer. Talk with your friends and make groups of between 2 and 10 people that you want to sit with at semi. If you have a group that is bigger than 10, don’t worry, make multiple tables and you can request to have tables near each other. If you have less than 10, that’s okay too! If there aren't 10 people at your table or you don’t have a group, we will match you up with others from your grade!

Next week is another anticipated spirit week! On Monday you can earn Crossley cup points for your grade by wearing orange, purple and/or black. On Wednesday wear plaid and on Friday come dressed in a school appropriate Halloween costume (your face cannot be hidden and you cannot use/include anything that looks like a weapon). On Friday we will have a costume parade where you can win prizes for best costumes!

SPORTS

Cross-Country

Congratulations to the Cross-Country team for their efforts at SOSSA yesterday.  The streak of having at least one OFSAA qualifier for the past 23 years is still alive.  Notable finishes were made by Alexis, Ava, Callum, Logan, Lydia, Griffin and Jack who all finished in the top 30. Many others had their best run pace of the season.

Representing us at OFSAA on November 1st is Grier R. having earned second place overall in the junior boys race… that’s second best runner in the SOSSA region!!!

Cross-Country team members are reminded to return their singlets to any of our coaches.  The final fun run will take place on Tuesday ( the auction for goodies night)

Reminder to the Jr girls basketball team of their game on Monday here at 3pm. Practice is cancelled today.
