TODAY’S NEWS

As National Skilled Trades and Technology Week wraps up, remember this: The world needs builders, problem-solvers, and innovators—and that could be YOU!

From carpentry and culinary arts to precision machining and computer programming, skilled trades and tech careers offer:

  • Hands-on, meaningful work

  • The chance to see the results of your efforts every day

  • Opportunities to run your own business

  • Pathways to mentor the next generation

Programs like OYAP and Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) can help you start building your future while still in high school.

There’s more than one path to success—the trades and tech are calling. Will you answer?

If you would like more information, visit the Guidance Office!

If you purchased a yearbook for last school year and haven't picked it up yet, please stop by the main office to get it.

Next Tuesday is our Remembrance Day ceremony.

  • Please dress appropriately for the occasion.

  • Students with sticker poppies will be visiting classrooms during Period 1. Remember to bring a small donation if you can.

Thank you for supporting our veterans.

SPORTS

Welcome all newcomers to Crossley Rowing. Any student in grade 9, or any grade, that is interested in giving the sport of rowing a try, is invited to join the team in its first indoor training session next Tuesday, Nov 11th, after school. Training will involve a gradual buildup of fitness and technique. It does not matter if you did the Learn to Row program this fall or if you have never tried the sport before, this is your chance to try something new and unique. Practices for the novices (newcomers to the sport) will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school, here at the school, from 2:15-4pm. No problem if you do other sports or clubs, we juggle all the time. If you have any questions, or need additional info, see Mr. Ruscitti in Room 206 or send him an email. Fun, fitness and friends. Go blue and gold!
