DAYS OF SIGNIFICANCE
Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week (Nov 16-22)-Ontario has designated the week beginning on the third Sunday of November as Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week to help promote safe schools and a positive learning environment. During Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week - Ontario students, school staff and parents are encouraged to learn more about bullying and its effect on student learning and well-being. (Ontario)
TODAY'S NEWS
This week is Ontario’s Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week. It takes place annually during the third week of November and is recognized province-wide under the Education Act. This week, we want to encourage students and staff to be kind to one another and maybe do an extra nice thing. If you receive an act of kindness this week, feel free to share it to the Crossley Student Council Instagram so we can spread good news.
ARTS
Jazz ensemble will be having a rehearsal after school today at 2:15, see you there!
Animal Farm rehearsal after school today in the drama room until 4pm.
SPORTS
Attn: all girls who would like to play volleyball this season. There will be an open gym on Wednesday after school in the big gym. This is not a tryout!
There will be an open gym tonight from 4-6 pm for all boys interested in playing basketball this season. This will be the final open gym before tryouts begin next week. Please pay attention to announcements this week for updates regarding tryout dates. Please see Mr. Petro or Mr. Morgan if you have any questions.
Rowing: Practices continue this week for all rowers. Experienced rowers have the RADAR erg assessments this week- check the schedule. Novice rowers have the regular Tuesday and Thursday practice after school. Meet in the athletic foyer. All are welcome and feel free to bring a friend. Go blue and gold!
