Martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur- This day commemorates his martyrdom (1621-1675). He was the ninth of the Ten Sikh Gurus and executed in Delhi by the Mughal emperor. He died for the Sikh faith and also for religious liberty. (Sikhism)

Attention Cyclones! Get Ready for CLOTHESPIN SURVIVOR! The ultimate fast-pace survival game is back! Everyone who signs up will be given a pin with your target's name on it. During the 5-minute break between classes, lunch and the 10 minutes before and after school, you’ll be racing through the halls trying to pin your person with your clothespin before someone else pins you. Stay alert, stay sneaky, and stay moving - every second counts. Get your $2 ready and come sign up at lunch in the caf between November 26th and December 2nd. All proceeds go to charity. We have incredible news to share! Our Sr. Girls Basketball Team has made history at the OFSAA AA Championship!
After traveling to Belleville to represent Crossley and SOSSA, the girls dominated the tournament with five straight wins:
Game 1: Beat Ecole Theriault 57–34
Game 2: Defeated Tecumseh Vista 67–38
Quarterfinal: Took down Bishop Macdonell 47–39
Semifinal: Overcame King’s Christian 47–36
Championship Game: In a nail-biter against #1 seed Thousand Island, our girls fought hard and WON 35–34!
That’s right—Crossley brings home the GOLD with a perfect 5–0 record! 🏆
A huge shout-out to the team for their grit and determination, and to the entire Crossley community for your support. Coaches Mr. Petro and Mr. Belding couldn’t be prouder!

Rowing:
Reminder to all Novice rowers that regular practices continue this week on Tuesdays and Thursday after school. Meet in the athletic foyer after the final bell. Newcomers are always welcome. Experienced rowers who are not on break week may continue training in the workout areas and RADAR testing as needed. Go blue and gold!
