TODAY'S NEWS

Today is Holiday Dress up - Antlers/Ugly Sweaters/Hats/Mittens. Could period 1 teachers please count and record the number of students by grade who are dressed up in holiday gear! The form to record numbers has been emailed to staff. Period 3 classes are reminded that today at noon is when door judging will occur! If you need supplies please see Mrs. Varga in room 113. Prizes are a pizza party for 1st place, timbits for 2nd place and candy for 3rd place! If your class is a winning class, a member of students council will see you before the end of period 3 to see when you would like to receive your prize.

A reminder that tomorrow will be an activity during period 4 and Friday is pj day! 

If you signed up to go to the staff vs. student game on Friday the buses will leave at 11:30 from the main foyer.  The bus lists will be posted in the Gym foyer by the water fountain after lunch today.

Bus #2 - Grade 10s (Last Name A - O) with Mr. Belding, Mr. Etten, and Mr. Dingwall

CLUBS

Tomorrow the Wellness Club will be in the main foyer at lunch. Come join us for a fun gratitude activity. Write a message of gratitude on a free candy cane and give it to one of your friends or teachers! Come check out our table!


The Oddity Film Society will be watching something seasonal after school today, I’m thinking perhaps Shane Black’s holiday classic Kiss Kiss Bang Bang or Stanley Kubric’s touching family drama, The Shining.

SPORTS

Rowing

Regular practices continue this week for all rowers including the Novices who are out on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school. Experienced rowers have the 60’ erg challenge coming up at the end of the week on Friday and the Novices have the 4K Candy Cane challenge on Thursday- both team traditions. Keep attending and keep up the good work. Rock n’ Row!
