DAY OF SIGNIFICANCE
International Migrants Day-International Migrants Day aims to raise awareness about the challenges and difficulties of international migration. It is also a day to recognize and celebrate the contributions, knowledge, networks and skills of Migrants that help to build stronger, more resilient communities.
TODAY'S NEWS
Continuing with our holiday spirit week - today there will be an activity during period 4! The google form for the activity will be sent to staff at 12:45.
Tomorrow staff and students council are pleased to present a pancake breakfast for all! When you arrive at school tomorrow morning, join us in the cafeteria to get your free pancakes! After breakfast you will go to period 1 classes for attendance AND win crossley cup points for WEARING your PJs! You will then join us in the gym where we will participate in our annual holiday assembly. Lunch will follow the assembly and then students have the option to go to the arena (if you signed up in school cash online!) to watch the staff vs. students hockey game OR you can stay back at school to participate in a variety of activities for students throughout the school.
If you signed up to go to the staff vs. student game the buses will leave at 11:30 from the main foyer. The bus lists will be posted in the Gym foyer by the water fountain.

CLUBS
Spread a little holiday cheer! The Wellness Club invites you to pick up a FREE Candy Cane TODAY at lunch from the main foyer, write a positive message for a friend, and pass it along to brighten someone’s day. A small gesture can make a big difference—let’s fill our school with kindness and connection this season!
Crossley for Christ will be meeting today at lunch! Join us in room 215 for a short devotional and a great time to socialize and get to know more people. Bring your lunch and a friend. Everyone’s welcome!

There will be no jazz rehearsal after school today, see you after the break!

Rowing
Regular practices continue this week for all rowers including the Novices who are out on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school. Experienced rowers have the 60’ erg challenge coming up at the end of the week on Friday, and the Novices have the 4K Candy Cane challenge on Thursday- both team traditions. Keep attending and keep up the good work. Rock n’ Row!

If you have math this semester, you will be writing the EQAO math test in January!! Come to room 313 today at lunch for some fun EQAO math prep! Anyone with math this semester is welcome to attend! See you there! This will be happening every Tuesday and Thursday.
