Feast of the Nativity/Orthodox Christmas (Gregorian Calendar)-The feast of the Nativity of Jesus is one of the most joyful days of the Orthodox Church and is seen as the day that Jesus became a man into the world as a saviour. Eastern Orthodox Christians recognize this day as Christmas - 13 days later - because they follow the Julian calendar rather than the Gregorian version of the Western calendar. Therapy Dogs are coming to EL Crossley next Tuesday, ahead of exams and culminating activities! The event will take place Tues Jan 13th during Periods 2 and lunch. Appointments will be 10 minutes long, and there are limited spots available!

Welcome back ELC rowers. Spring on-water season is just around the corner. Indoor racing season is coming up in February. Medals are handed out in the spring but WON in the WINter. Regular practices continue this week for all rowers including the Novices who are out on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school. Keep attending, and keep up the good work. Rock n’ Row! Go blue and gold.
