DAYS OF SIGNIFICANCE
Nisfu Sha'Ban (Fasting Day)-The night of asking for forgiveness is the 15th day of Sha'Ban-The eighth month of the Lunar Islamic calendar. The main blessing of this night is that God pours his mercy and forgiveness upon earth from Maghrib prayer until Fajr prayer. Muslims may also fast on this day. (Islam)
Setsubun-sai is known as Bean Throwing Night. Beans are thrown to protect against demons with shouts of ‘Devil out, Good Fortune in’. (Buddhism – Shinto)

All rowers are reminded to be sure to pick up their pasta dinner tickets ASAP from Ms. Kuczera on the third floor in Room 302! The dinner is THIS Saturday, Feb 7th. Sign-ups for positions on the night of the dinner are posted on the inside of the Erg room doors! If anyone at Crossley would like to join us, be sure to buy your ticket from one of your Rowing classmates!
