Today is Can’t Stop a Cyclone day! Can period 1 teachers please go to the email sent this morning to record the number of students by grade who are wearing ELC spirit wear. A reminder that tomorrow is PJ day!
What does a Castle, a Knight, and a slice have in common?? Friday the chess club will be selling Pizza in the caf at lunch! Come get a slice!!
The Muslim Student Association has been planning a community Iftar and we’d love for you Cyclones to attend! This is a potluck so bring a dish for others to enjoy! Show up for food and games. Everyone is welcome regardless of faith. The Iftar Night is scheduled for February 26th starting at 5:30 PM in the cafeteria. The sign up link can be found in the January 30th newsletter and also via the QR code on the posters around the school!
Today is the day. Students who wish to have a time table at Crossley for next year are to ensure that they have submitted their course selections in Xello. A signed paper copy must be brought to Guidance ASAP.
CLUBS
Grade 12 Math Contest Writers - So far only 2 students have signed up for the Spring Euclid Math Contest. If you wish to write the contest, you MUST talk to Mr Bhan ASAP. If you do not talk to Mr Bhan THIS WEEK you will not be able to write… even semester 1 writers have to come see Mr Bhan again.
The Mock Trial team is starting up again! Any interested student who has taken a Gr. 11 or Gr. 12 Law class is invited to participate. Our first meeting will be tomorrow after school in room 204, from 2:15-3:30. If you can’t make it but are still interested, drop by to see Mrs. Barber today.
The Wellness Club will be meeting in the back of Student Services today at lunch.
MSA will be meeting in Mr. Huxley’s construction room today at lunch.
Bored at lunch, the Board Game Club with start up again next week on Tuesday.
Crossley for Christ will be meeting today at lunch! Join us in room 215 for a short devotional and a great time to socialize and get to know more people. Bring your lunch and a friend. Everyone’s welcome!

Regular practices continue this week for ALL rowers as we prepare for two upcoming indoor rowing competitions. Consistency and communication are the cornerstones to Crossley Champions. Go blue and gold!
