DAY OF SIGNIFICANCE

Armenian Genocide Memorial Day is a public holiday in Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh and is observed by the Armenian diaspora in Canada. It is held annually to commemorate the victims of the Armenian genocide of 1915. (Canadian Government)

Do you enjoy science, writing, or a mix of both? If so, we’ve got the club for you! Our Scientific Journaling Club called Sci and Tell is meeting today at lunch in Mrs. Halsted’s room 403.

This is your chance to explore science topics you’re passionate about, build your writing skills, and even get your work published—one of our students has already had an article published with Pelham News!

It’s a great way to strengthen your resume and get a head start on university-level skills. Come check it out—we’d love to have you join us!

ARTS

The ELC Music Dept Spring concert is happening next Thursday, April 30 at 7pm. Admission is $5 at the door! 

Attention Singers! Please meet in the music room right at the beginning of lunch for an important rehearsal!

Just a reminder to Mrs Stickney’s period 4 class to meet in the first floor music room today!

SPORTS 

A reminder to all track and field athletes: if you still need a singlet, please see Mr. Lew at practice today after school in the gym foyer.  Track spikes will also be signed out today for those who want them.  Make sure you have your forms handed in before the invitational next week or you will not be able to attend.

Varsity Girls Soccer: Next week we have a game Monday at home against Westlane @ 3:00, along with a practice on both Tuesday and Thursday. You need to let either Ms. Di Santo or Mrs. Wilson know if you cannot be at any of these.
