African World Heritage Day-African World Heritage Day is an opportunity for people around the world, and particularly Africans, to celebrate the Continent's unique cultural and natural heritage.
National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two-Spirit-THis day, also called Red Dress Day, is meant to honour and remember all missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and 2LGBTQQIA people.

Keep listening Cyclones because each day in May we will be playing a song that has been nominated by a staff member?! Each week we will announce the class who has made the most correct guesses and that class will win a prize!

To all students eligible for Indigenous support. NPAAMB, an organization that supports Indigenous youth with employment services and skills, will be hosting a lunch and learn on Tuesday, May 26th. All Indigenous students are invited to attend and learn the services and programs available through NPAAMB. Lunch will be provided. The meeting will take place in room 306.
Tomorrow is our annual Wellness Fair. Come to the first floor at lunch and check out all the amazing local resources that offer FREE services for youth! There will also be a chance to win prize baskets, and some free swag!

SPORTS
The Varsity Girls Soccer team continued their season winning streak, defeating Governor Simcoe 3-0 yesterday. Goals were scored by Maddy H, Emmersyn W. and Gracie V. Check out the article on the BP Sports Niagara website! Practice Wednesday and then we face A.N. Myer in an exhibition home game on Thursday which will be sure to challenge and sharpen our skills - help us by cheering us on!
All track and field athletes are reminded of their meet tomorrow at Centennial. Everyone is to meet there for 8:45. Don’t forget to check the schedule and the events you’re signed up for in the gym foyer. If you have any questions see one of the coaches.
