TODAY'S NEWS

There will be a prom meeting Friday at lunch in room 318 for those interested in helping with final planning of the prom.

To all students eligible for Indigenous support. NPAAMB, an organization that supports Indigenous youth with employment services and skills, will be hosting a lunch and learn on Tuesday, May 26th. All Indigenous students are invited to attend and learn the services and programs available through NPAAMB. Lunch will be provided. The meeting will take place in room 306.

CLUBS

The Health Science Society will meet today at lunch to discuss our upcoming fundraisers! 

The Wellness Club will meet today, at lunch, in the back of Guidance.

Our first attempt at a grade 9 wide game was a success! Thank you to all who participated. And the results are in….in third place (and winning candy/chocolate) was Mme Bastien's class with 2525 points. In second place (and winning timbits) was Mr. Lafferty’s class with 5310 points. And in first place, with 7825 points and winning a pizza party - was Mr. Shannon’s class! A member of Student Council will be around today to arrange the prizes with the classes!

ARTS

Jazz ensemble will have a quick meeting at the beginning of lunch today.  There will be no rehearsal after school. See you at lunch! 

Star Fest Performers please come to the drama room for a quick meeting at the beginning of lunch. Please bring your signed permission forms with you.

SPORTS

All Track and Field athletes are asked to check their emails for information regarding next week’s meet.  The schedule and event sign up has been posted in the gym foyer for Tuesday’s Zone Meet.  Make sure you check that all information is correct.  Any changes must be given to Mr. Lew before the end of the school day, TODAY, otherwise you are stuck with the events posted.  There will be a short practice after school today for those that need it.

Reminder to all Baseball team members. We are meeting at 10:45 at the back doors by the gym, to leave for our 12:00 game against Centennial. If you have any questions please see Mr. Sanford or Mr. Petro.

The link to the google form has been emailed to staff. Each week we will announce the class who has made the most correct guesses and that class will win a prize!
