DAY OF SIGNIFICANCE

Day of Arafat-Muslims perform the annual pilgrimage to Mecca. The pilgrimage is one of the five Pillars of Islam. All Muslims are expected to perform the Hajj at least once in their lifetime if they have the physical and financial capacity. About 6 million Muslims from over 70 countries journey to the holy city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia. (Islam)

The morning song from yesterday was nominated by Mme Kuczera! It’s time to complete the google form for your guess on which staff member nominated the song that was played before the bell this morning! The link to the google form has been emailed to staff. Keep your guesses coming Crossley because the class with the most correct guesses this week will win a pizza party lunch to celebrate our final week of teacher nominated music!!

Attention grads. Starting today we will be doing table sign ups for prom in the foyer at lunch. Please come sign up for a table or you will be placed at a table. If you have any food allergies please write your allergy beside your name on the table seating chart.

Last call for Summer school registration- The hard deadline to register for summer school is Wednesday, May 27th - get an appointment ASAP if you plan to enroll in a summer credit.

Attention all Health Science Society members: there will be no meeting at lunch today. However, if you are interested in participating in a Suturing Workshop run by McMaster medical students, keep an eye out for posters around the school later this week to sign up! Yesterday the Variety Girls Soccer Team won an impressive 13-0 match, solidifying the title of repeat Zone Champions! On Thursday we host SOSSA on our own turf; come on out to cheer us on! Our first game starts at 10:30! Go Cyclones Go!
